Gräsö Kanotcentral is located on the beautiful island Rävsten, outside Gräsö in northern Roslagen.
With proximity to the sheltered bays, surrounded by hundreds of small islands,
and the open sea only a stone's throw away...


 

Directions

With a car
From Uppsala you drive on road 288 against Östhammar. Continue past the Östhammar about 10 kilometers and turn against Öregrund.
Take the ferry from Öregrund to Gräsö (normally every full and half hour). Turn Right in first crossing after the ferry terminal and run against Äspskär.
After 10 kilometers, have you reached Äspskärs bridge, the road is quite narrow and winding, so drive carefully.

Boat ride to Rävsten takes about 10 minutes.
Driving from Uppsala exit at Gränby to Öregrund takes about 1 hours and 15 minutes.
You should take the ferry (Öregrund to Gräsö) which is 30 minutes before the scheduled time for boat transportation to Rävsten.

The boat ride to Rävsten is NOT included.

From Gävle you drive on road 288 along the coast and turn towards Öregrund...

From Stockholm you drive through Uppsala...

With a bus
Go with Upplands Lokaltrafik to the ferry terminal in Öregrund, change there to bus 853 against Äspskärs bridge.

For bus times, etc. go into Upplands Lokaltrafik

During the summer most bus 853 to Äspskäret booked well in advance.

With a boat
You can take your own boat, and add at the bridge in Rävstens guestharbor.
